ACUPUNTURIST

TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) dates back 2,500 years and is therefore one of the oldest medicine on earth.

One of the basic principles of TCM is that “the vital energy of the body (chi or qi)” circulates through the channels (meridians) that are connected to body organs and functions” so that it can be applied to cure any health issue.

Ms. So Cheng-Mei, a Taiwanese acupuncturist, started studying Western medicine nursing in 1996. To further her medical knowledge, she pursued Chinese medicine at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2001, obtaining her bachelor's and master's degrees. She practiced at Shanghai Dinghan Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic for about eight years before moving to Belgium, where she founded So Chinese Medicine in 2018.

Ms. So specializes in traditional Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, cupping, and TCM gynecology. She has extensive experience treating women's and children's health issues, improving sleep, and relieving chronic pain. She prioritizes patient understanding and tailors treatments to individual needs, believing that knowledge of one's body can lead to better health with Chinese medicine.
